Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Hamburg, an IHG Hotel

Luckily there was a room available last minute while I was showing at the hamburger fairgrounds. It was fairly clean, and there was personal touches ( free cookies, water bottles, soup). The pool area was heated but the water was ice cold… could not swim. There seems to be very little staff working at all times. There was a man drinking out of a crown royal bottle and vaping in the pool, I also had to call down for a man pacing in the hallway and putting his ear up to room doors (he did turn out to be a guest) the manager was very reassuring when I called.

The bed was the comfiest bed we've ever slept in! We want one for our own house lol. As soon as our heads hit the pillow we were out like a light.

There was a good selection for a hot or cold breakfast. The dining area was comfortable and clean. I enjoyed the small indoor pool.

The older gentleman at the front desk was so friendly and welcoming. Our room was very clean by Carolyn. The lady that did the breakfast was so sweet to our family and our little boy. We were traveling from afar and passing through but I would highly recommend this hotel!

The room was much bigger than I expected and the bed was very comfortable which is always a BIG plus! Breakfast was adequate and convenient, i.e. we didn't need to drive anywhere. The pool was an added bonus. Unfortunately we forgot to bring out swimsuits!
